> What does "where every thing is
OK" mean? |
|
 |
|
|
One of the most common questions we're asked is:
“are you a made in Oklahoma store?”
The (not so) simple answer is yes... ...and no.
While Oklahoma's Red Dirt Emporium has a very
strong emphasis on MIO items, we believe that
our customers would miss out on LOTS of other
great stuff that RELATES to Oklahoma by limiting
ourselves to only items physically created here.
For instance: music made by Oklahoma artists who
now live elsewhere. Books by
non-Oklahomans, printed out of state, but ABOUT
Oklahoma. Route 66 items (did you know
Oklahoma has more miles of Route 66 than any
other state?).
As a general rule, all of the food items we
carry are made in Oklahoma. The same for
items like candles and soaps. But the
ultimate test for us is whether or not an item
in some way tells Oklahoma's story.
Stop by and let us tell you every item's
story. We know you'll like them. |
